GTA allows you to beat the crap out of time and space the way Niko beats the crap out of cops in GTA4.  GTA uses pacemaker to speed up the tempo (but not the pitch) of all songs in the playlist. This results in making room for more songs (which might make a person or two happier)
Here's some examples of how GTA can work for you...
Your closing time is 2am. You've sold out at 11pm. Right then your best customer and a group of thier friends walk in....
In most normal situations, you would have to kill someone on the playlist. With GTA, you can speed up the 3 hours left by 6% and gain an addition 10 minutes of room. That's at least 3 or 4 short songs, or maybe one or two long Bohemians.
Either way, you've just made your best customer happy and didn't have to piss off any of the people who already turned in thier songs by deleting them.
